While shooting the Chic League cover, we’ve managed to chat with our models. Each having their own unique style and personality.

Chic League takes a look at:

Rammy Bitong, 18 year-old Dancer at De Lasalle University - Manila

Rammy oozes-well, for the lack of a better word: Swag. The “now legal” boy-next-door is a recent graduate of La Salle Greenhills and is currently taking up Organizational Communication in De La Salle University.

“I’m taking it because I think that art is where I can excel. I just finished my freshman year and it couldn’t have gone any better. I never expected it but I made it to the 1st honors dean’s list.” said Rammy.

Lazy? Never! No matter how tired he is from training, he’d be more than willing to go out if you’d ask. Aside from excelling in his academics he still finds time to play the drums, though he claims he isn’t in a band; he also cooks during his free time, but what takes up most of his time is dancing, which obviously is his forte and claim to fame. So what does our boy-on-the go usually wear?

“Tank top & jeans, how much simpler could it be? I think it says that I’m a pretty chill guy,  I’m a playful teen who’s just trying to enjoy what’s left of my youth”.

What do you usually wear to school?

“First and foremost I consider comfort because it takes me at least an hour via car to DLSU. I go for the smart casual look to leave a good impression on my teachers. Collared shirt, jeans, cozy shoes; I always bring a jacket; our classrooms can get insanely cold”.

What inspires you to dress up? 

“The biggest factor would probably be my family. I guess it came naturally because everyone around me was always dressed up. Tinie Tempah and Ryan Gosling are my top two icons. Tinie for all the trends and the way he carries himself and Ryan for when I want to look suave and sophisticated”.

Any Advise to those aspiring to build their wardrobe?

“Don’t over think”

Wardrobe essentials and styling tricks? 

“Have a bit of everything. A lot of parties now require you to come dressed in a certain theme; it’s always good to be prepared. Have the most basic pieces, which you can combine with others to achieve different looks. I style myself based on the formality of an event. I’d rather be overdressed than under”.

Ideal outfit for a night out?

 ”Simplicity is the key. I would wear a button down top, chinos and dress shoes. I have haircuts more often than the average guy because I always want to look neat and credible”.

Current trend obsession?

“Canvas rucksacks and loafers”!
